I own the project which examines advances in human machine interaction. In this project we are using, amongst other things, the capabilties of Microsoft Surface to provide a rich 3D experience accessible via intuitive touch screen technology.
Consequently I have been looking for other examples of the use of touch screen or Microsoft Surface technology in healthcare. The Virtual Autopsy Table looks to be one of the best I have found.Built in Sweden by the Norrkoping Visualisation Center in partnership with the Centre for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV, the Virtual Autopsy Table was part of a program funded by the Knowledge Foundation, the Vardal Foundation, VINNOVA, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research and invest in Sweden Agency.
