Project-HMI
Project: Human machine interaction

Project leader: Matthias Meunier

Overview: A new era of technology promises to sweep away the constraints of clumsy devices and the limitations of difficult interfaces. Leaving behind the basic keyboard and mouse approach will radically change both the patient experience, and the working practices of healthcare professionals and institutions.

This Ideaworks project investigates emerging technologies, such as internet capable micro-sensors that will enhance patient care and health management, and explores new, intuitive interfaces and consumer style devices which are set to simplify the task of information capture and distribution.
